In 2023, I gathered with 15 other women for a sharing circle in an enchanted wood. Strictly speaking, the wood might not be enchanted, but excited about what was to come, there was magic in the air. 

Perched on tree stumps we sipped cacao and wrote down something that no longer served us. Then we were invited to share our thoughts before casting our papers into an open fire.

The magic quickly disappeared and what had begun with excitement and anticipation turned into a quiet, introspective stillness. The vibrant women who had come together each sat, processing her inner world and reflecting on her unresolved struggles and relationships.

I was perturbed and curious—could we have departed that circle as radiant goddesses, filled with optimism and joy?

We needed an inspirational tool to support us—something to reignite our connection to our inner selves and to one another. A tool that would shift our focus from what we lacked to all that we possessed and all that we had the potential to become. 

Inspired by our own feminist values and spiritual exploration, my Mayamana co-creator, Amy and I set about creating a collection of beautiful and astute luxury goods for the modern woman.

Our pieces are deeply rooted in ancient symbolism and designed to inspire and delight with their distinctive blend of thought-provoking messaging, quirky humour and intricate artistry.

Offering a refreshing alternative to the darker side of Tarot and Oracle, each design is a celebration of self-discovery, empowerment and the mystical allure of modern spirituality.

By merging the spiritual and the stylish, we create pieces that go beyond aesthetics, offering tools for empowerment, ritual, and daily affirmation.
